We had a fantastic day last week getting back to nature through the Teucheen Woods in Inchinnan. Thanks to Maggie at the Inchinnan Development Trust ment Trust for organising the event and to Donna and Lacey at Little Forest Friends for being our guides and showing us there is so much more fun to be had in nature. We all loved the activities you put on! Thanks also to Margaret who is a counsellor from Crisis Counselling Ltd. in Erksine! We also thouroughly enjoyed our Soup at the Braehead Tavern afterwards. Really warmed the cockles!

We would like to say a HUGE thanks to The National Lottery Community Fund Scotland and the National Lottery players for awarding us funding! This will allow us to build on the groups, classes, and workshops we already run, but more importantly, it will allow us to research and formulate new bespoke groups and services which our service users request.

We can reach out to many more women in our community and give them a focus and opportunity to change things for the better in their community. We will build a community of women who will help other women to recover and even better, to avoid abuse in the first place.

Many thanks to Ikea for donating some furniture and goods for our new managers office and for the new yoga classes which will be starting soon. We are absolutely delighted! Many thanks to Gavin Newlands MP for setting this up for us. Gavin is incredibly supportive of the charity in so many ways, from helping to arrange funding, donating his darts winnings, advocating for Jubilee House and for taking the voices of our ladies to Westminster. I don’t even have words to thank him enough. Truely an amazing man.
